Last week, CNW reported on the record number of 47 Caribbean Americans from South Florida who are contesting primary elections on August 18, and the general elections on November, 3.
However, thanks to information ascertained through the local organization Soca-De-Vote Tanya Ragbeer two additional Caribbean Americans are also campaigning for seats in the primary elections, bringing the overall total of Caribbean Americans seeking representational office in South Florida to 49, with 35 now involved in the primary elections.
