The event to be held under the theme, “Farm to Table: Revolutionizing the Local Food Supply Chain”, promises to further elevate the agricultural landscape of the region.
The TT Agri-Expo 2024 serves as an ideal platform to stimulate conversations among key stakeholders amplifying investments and achieving the vision of Food and Nutrition Security in Trinidad and Tobago. Building on the success of the 2022 Agri-Investment Forum and Expo, this year's event will focus on the importance of local food production and consumption for economic growth and food security. It will showcase cutting-edge climate smart agricultural technologies and foster innovation while enhancing investment opportunities.
Key highlights of the upcoming TT Agri-Expo 2024 include a Livestock Competition segment, a designated Children’s zone, as well as an expanded exhibition where stakeholders can showcase products alongside the latest advancements in agricultural practices. The event will feature insightful Business-to-Business (B2B) segments, offering exhibitors opportunities to forge relationships within the sector. Attendees of all ages can enjoy attractions such as the Farmers’ Market, Entertainment Hub, Agricultural Equipment Area, Petting Zoo and dedicated areas for Aquaculture/Fisheries. Networking opportunities with industry experts will also be available throughout the event. As an added feature, MALF has partnered with the Ministry of Education and 4-H Leaders Council of Trinidad and Tobago to bring ‘The Chow Down Competition’, exclusively for students to showcase their culinary talents. Schools can register to participate via www.agriexpo.gov.tt until August 9, 2024.
