St Vincent and the Grenadines set to host first music festival in October

St Vincent and the Grenadines is gearing up to host its first-ever music festival, set to take center stage in October.

Minister of Tourism Carlos James made the announcement during the State of Tourism 2024 conference held on Tuesday.

A showcase of local and international talent

The decision to launch the St Vincent and the Grenadines Music Festival comes on the heels of the highly successful One Family Concert, which garnered widespread acclaim.

He says October is the month they have selected for the hosting of the music festival in St Vincent and the Grenadines.

Minister James believes that it is high time for the Caribbean nation to create a prominent global platform for its local creatives, affording them the opportunity to share the limelight with renowned international artists and performers.

A promising lineup with global appeal

While refraining from confirming specific headliners, Minister James hinted at the prospect of welcoming more international artists and performers to St Vincent and the Grenadines, starting this year.
