Spice Island Beach Resort has been named recipient of the 2026 Top Guest Experience Award by Expedia Group, with the recognition presented during an Expedia Partner Event held on the sidelines of the Caribbean Travel Marketplace in Antigua and Barbuda.

The award highlights hospitality partners that consistently achieve strong guest satisfaction scores, based on verified traveller reviews and ratings. Expedia Group said the distinction reflects properties that deliver consistently memorable travel experiences across their operations.

Resort manager Sheldon Keens-Douglas said the recognition speaks directly to the team’s service culture. “Every member of our team is committed to creating meaningful experiences rooted in genuine Grenadian hospitality, personalised service and thoughtful attention to detail,” he said. “To know that our guests continue to feel cared for, welcomed and inspired during their stays is the greatest honour we could receive.”

The boutique, family-owned resort’s win is seen as particularly notable given competition from larger international hotel brands. The property, set along Grand Anse Beach, has long been known for its focus on personalised service, luxury accommodation and authentic Caribbean character.

The award also carries weight because it is driven entirely by guest feedback, underscoring the resort’s sustained performance in visitor satisfaction. Spice Island Beach Resort also expressed appreciation to Expedia Group, travel advisors, partners and its staff for what it described as continued trust and commitment to service excellence.
