Sherika Jackson hands Fraser-Pryce first defeat of the season in Belgium

Shericka Jackson rebounded from last week's surprise loss to Aleia Hobbs in the Lausanne 100m Diamond League to inflict a first defeat of the season on Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce in Belgium minutes ago.

Facing the starter in the penultimate Diamond League meet of the season at he Memorial can Damme Brussels Diamond League, Jackson closed fast to overhaul a tiring Fraser-Pryce to win in 10.73 seconds to Fraser-Pryce's 10.74 seconds.
Third place went to Marie Josee Ta Lou in 10.78 seconds, with Hobbs in fourth and Sha'Carri Richardson, who edged Elaine Thompson-Herah over 100m on Tuesday, well beaten into fifth place.
