“I believe Julien Alfred absolutely deserves it. I am very happy and excited about some of the designs I have seen,” Casimir said.
Safety and access shape the final decision
While the location has been secured, technical assessments are still being carried out before the final plans are approved.
Road safety, visibility and public access are among the factors being considered as officials determine how the proposed landmark will fit into the surrounding area.
