Robbery strikes Jamaica Archives building in Spanish Town

The Jamaican police are investigating a robbery at the Jamaica Archives building in Emancipation Square in Spanish Town, St Catherine.

According to reports, workers who turned up this morning found a smashed glass window.

Disruption at the State Agency

Reports are that the building was ransacked and several computers, cellular phones, and desk fans were reportedly stolen. 

The water cooler was also reportedly taken. 

The estimated loss is yet to be ascertained.

The robbery has impacted operations at the state agency.

Detectives assigned to the St Catherine North police are trying to find those responsible.
