Palm Beach County Officials Host Holiday Meal Distribution Event on Friday
Palm Beach County officials will host a holiday meal drive-up distribution event on Friday, December 18. The event will take place at: Compson Place at Renaissance Commons, 1880 N. Congress Ave., Boynton Beach, from 1:00 Pm to 3:00 PM.

Coordinated by the Palm Beach County Office of Community Revitalization (OCR), Living Hungry, Inc., the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office, and other community partners, the holiday meal giveaway will provide hundreds of meals to preselected families in need in seven communities in Palm Beach County.

During this event, meals will be handed out personally by Santa hat-wearing volunteers, OCR staff and PBSO deputies.

Each family will receive a 5-pound prime cut beef roast from Sysco SFL, groceries of dry goods and canned items, and a bountiful set of fresh vegetables and fruits from East Coast Farms. The farm box is packed full of traditional fresh produce such as oranges, tomatoes, yams, collard greens, spinach and potatoes.

Communities participating include Gramercy Park, Westgate, San Castle, Plantation, Lake Worth West, Country Club Acres and Watergate Estates in West Boca.
