BROWARD COUNTY - Humana, one of Florida’s leading health and wellbeing companies, will celebrate this holiday season on Friday, December 13, by inviting Broward County senior citizens to an event called “No Senior Eats Alone” event to share a healthy and nutritious meal, and good company, without charge at Humana’s neighborhood centers in Pembroke Pines and also in Tamarac.

The Pembroke Pines event will be held at the Humana neighborhood location at 10350 Pines Blvd., Pembroke Pines, FL 33026 from 10 am to 2pm, and the Tamarac event at the Humana neighborhood location at King Point Shopping Center, 7666 Nob Hill Road, Tamarac, FL 33321.

This free event to be held for all seniors and visitors, is an example of Humana’s commitment to supporting the Broward County community and raising awareness of food insecurity, social isolation and loneliness among area seniors – all social determinants of health that have implications on health and wellbeing.
