Taylor said the Sister City relationship with Belize City is creating new opportunities for trade, tourism, investment and entrepreneurship while ensuring Belizean families in South Florida have access to essential government services.

The initiative will culminate on Saturday, July 11, with Miramar Belize Day, a day-long celebration at Miramar City Hall highlighting Belizean culture, tourism, business opportunities, education and community partnerships.

The event will feature authentic Belizean cuisine, cultural performances, artisan vendors, tourism and investment exhibits, STEM demonstrations, youth activities, community resources and networking opportunities aimed at fostering future collaboration between Belize and South Florida.

Miramar Belize Day will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on July 11 at Miramar City Hall, located at 2300 Civic Center Place in Miramar.
