Hosted by Avril Cherasard, the event underscores the city’s efforts to strengthen international partnerships and promote cultural exchange.
“The Global Africa Symposium reflects Miramar’s vision as a diverse, forward-thinking city that embraces global connections,” Cherasard said. “We are proud to bring together leaders and communities to celebrate Africa’s legacy, explore new opportunities, and strengthen the bonds between Africa and its diaspora.”
The program will feature keynote remarks from entrepreneur Rohan Marley, along with panel discussions, cultural performances and a “Global African Village” showcasing food, music, fashion and vendors.
Organizers say the symposium is designed to encourage inclusive dialogue, expand economic cooperation and highlight the role of Africa and its diaspora in the global economy.
