Miami-Dade County Public Schools (M-DCPS) has once again been named an “A-rated” district by the Florida Department of Education, continuing its upward trajectory of academic excellence.

Broward County Public Schools also achieved an A-rated school district status for the second year in a row.

According to the school performance grades released for the 2024–25 school year, 99% of M-DCPS schools received grades of A, B, or C. Of these, 64% earned an A, 22% earned a B, and 14% received a C. Notably, no M-DCPS schools received an F.

“Our trajectory of excellence at Miami-Dade County Public Schools is a testament to the incredible work of our students, teachers, staff, and leaders,” said Schools Superintendent Dr. Jose L. Dotres. “We’re committed to providing the best educational opportunities and ensuring we remain the best choice for our community.”

The A-rating reaffirms M-DCPS’s continued focus on student achievement, quality instruction, and high-performance standards across the district.
