Lagos State Governor holds talks with Grenadian PM during visit to the island

The Executive Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, embarked on a trip to Grenada, where he held talks with Prime Minister Dickon Mitchell. 

The meeting, held in St. George’s, Grenada, marked a pivotal step in fostering stronger bilateral relations between their respective regions.

Blue Line Rail Miniature presented

An update on the Official Facebook Page of His Excellency, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, revealed that the Lagos State Governor presented Prime Minister Mitchell with a symbolic miniature representation of the Blue Line Rail. 

Exploring mutual interests

The meeting between Governor Sanwo-Olu and Prime Minister Mitchell was marked by in-depth discussions that spanned a range of topics crucial to both nations. 

The focal points of their dialogue included tourism, agriculture, and various economic interests that held the potential to mutually benefit Lagos State and Grenada.

Grenada’s 50th-anniversary celebrations

Prime Minister Mitchell also took the opportunity to share exciting plans for Grenada’s upcoming 50th-anniversary celebrations, scheduled for February. 

According to media reports, Governor Sanwo-Olu described the meeting as a productive and enriching exchange, emphasizing that it laid the foundation for more profound collaboration between their regions.
