The democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden will make a return to the battleground of Florida, specifically Broward County, later this week, as election day inches closer.

Biden's campaign announced that he will visit Broward County and Tampa on Thursday but no further details about the upcoming visit have been revealed.

Just two weeks ago, the former vice president made his first campaign stop in the county, where he held a drive-in rally at Miramar Regional Park and spoke to seniors at Southwest Focal Point Community Center in Pembroke Pines.

The heavily democratic Broward County, which is densely populated with Caribbean Americans, will be key in Biden's chances of winning the swing state of Florida.

Just over the weekend, while campaigning for Biden in Miami, former President Barack Obama urged people to vote for Joe Biden, contending again that Trump has bungled the coronavirus pandemic and made a number of other missteps in office.

President Donald Trump has also made several campaign trips to Florida, and on Saturday he was in Palm Beach County casting his ballot.

According to the Associated Press, as of Oct. 25, over 3 million mail-in ballots have already been cast.
