In a dominant 10-minute spell, Jamaica found the back of the net three times, with Corlando Morris leading the charge. Morris opened the scoring in the 21st minute, pouncing on a loose ball in the penalty box and firing home with a swift turn. Seven minutes later, he doubled his tally, curling a free kick past a diving Justin Vermeer in the Aruban net.
Davion Clarke added a third goal before halftime, dribbling his way into the box and finishing from close range. The onslaught continued in the second half, with Samuel Taylor adding Jamaica’s fourth goal just before the hour mark. Taylor’s looping header from a speculative cross found its way under the crossbar and into the net.
Kelvin Brown rounded off the scoring minutes before the final whistle, using his speed to outpace his marker and slot home in a one-on-one situation against the goalkeeper.
With this win, Jamaica finished at the top of Group A with 12 points and will now face the runners-up from Group B Puerto Rico in the semi-finals. The semi-finals are scheduled for Friday at the Dwight Yorke Stadium, where the Boyz will look to continue their dominant form in the tournament.
