The young Boyz advanced to the final after a spirited 3-1 comeback victory over Puerto Rico in the semi-finals on Friday.

In what was their toughest test yet, Jamaica conceded their first goal of the tournament when Puerto Rico took the lead from the penalty spot in the 34th minute. However, the young Reggae Boyz responded with determination, dominating the second half to seal the victory.
A thrilling 4-3 victory
Kelvin Brown pulled Jamaica level in the 51st minute with a long-range shot that slipped under the Puerto Rican goalkeeper’s arm. Minutes later, Kyle Hussey gave Jamaica the lead, and Brown returned in the dying moments of the game to secure the win for the Boyz.
Their final opponents, French Guiana, reached the title match after a thrilling 4-3 victory over Trinidad and Tobago in the other semi-final. French Guiana opened the scoring in the seventh minute through Matheo Francois, but Trinidad quickly equalized through Jeremai Nanton three minutes later.
French Guiana reclaimed the lead in the 12th minute thanks to a brilliant effort from Tyler Hartino, who would later double his tally after a defensive error from Trinidad. French Guiana’s fourth goal came just before halftime from a stunning free kick by Guezo Atoukou. Despite second-half goals from Trinidad’s Adasa Richardson and Jahmiah Gibbes, French Guiana held on to book their spot in the final.
