Jamaica’s labor ministry confirms death of farm worker in Canada

Jamaica’s Ministry of Labor and Social Security has confirmed the death of a farm worker participating in the Canadian program. 

The deceased, identified as Daniel Brown, was discovered unresponsive in his room on October 8.

An ordinary evening preceding the tragedy

Reports suggest that Brown had returned home from a regular day at work. 

It is said that Brown returned home from work the previous evening, prepared a meal, and went to bed as usual.

His death is under investigation.
