Shaw received the honor on Tuesday at the Manchester Opera House in Manchester, England, following a phenomenal season with Manchester City in the Women’s Super League (WSL).

Shaw’s outstanding performance throughout the 2023/24 season earned her the Golden Boot, as she netted 21 goals in 18 appearances for Manchester City. Her goal-scoring prowess helped propel the Citizens to a runner-up finish in the league, despite her absence in the final stretch of the campaign due to injury.
