The child, Shaleah Dobson, died two days after being forgotten in the back of her father’s car for several hours.
In January, a relative told the Jamaica Observer newspaper “normally the grandmother would keep the child, but she had flu symptoms and arrangement was made for to go to the daycare, so the mother took the child to the father, who would, in turn, take the child to the daycare and he forgot”.
