An impressive performance in the 100m hurdles

Meanwhile, Anderson, competing in only her second hurdles race since returning from injury and knee surgery that sidelined her for the entire 2023 season, delivered an impressive performance in the 100m hurdles. Clocking a time of 13.34 seconds against a 1.4 m/s headwind, Anderson secured a dominant victory, showcasing her exceptional hurdling skills.

Her commanding performance not only demonstrated her return to form but also highlighted her determination to reclaim her position among Jamaica's elite sprint hurdlers. With the Olympics on the horizon this summer, Anderson's victory serves as a promising sign for her future success on the international stage.

As the La Fratellanza 1874 meeting came to a close, McLeod and Anderson's triumphs signaled a positive outlook for Jamaican sprinters as they aim to make their mark at the upcoming National Championships and beyond.
