Trinidad and Tobago's experienced sprinter, Michelle-Lee Ahye, was a close third, claiming the bronze medal with a time of 11.53 seconds.

A second medal for Guyana

Emmanuel Archibald, representing Guyana, continued the impressive showing by winning a second medal for his country. He secured the bronze medal in the men's 100m final, clocking a time of 10.31 seconds. The thrilling race saw Jose Gonzales of the Dominican Republic clinch gold with a time of 10.30 seconds, while Brazil's Felipe Bardi was awarded the silver medal, also with a time of 10.31 seconds.

Meanwhile. Jamaica’s Odaine McPherson, who eventually got a place in the final, finished seventh in 10.44v seconds.

These podium finishes showcased the talent and determination of athletes from Guyana and Trinidad and Tobago on the international stage, leaving a mark at the Pan American Games.
