The Guyana Tourism Authority (GTA) on Friday unveiled a new digital platform aimed at transforming the way travellers book tours and experiences across the country.

Developed in partnership with Breeze Travel Solutions (BTS), the platform offers a centralised, user-friendly interface accessible to travellers worldwide, travel agents, and tourism partners. Users can discover, build, and book complete itineraries—including eco-lodge stays, jungle tours, cultural experiences, and local flights—all in one place.

“This initiative marks a major leap forward in modernising and digitising Guyana’s tourism sector,” said GTA director Kamrul Baksh. “With this booking engine, we are putting Guyana’s unique experiences within easy reach of both global travellers and the travel trade industry.”

The GTA emphasized that the platform exclusively features experiences offered by licensed operators—tour companies, ecolodges, resorts, and hotels—ensuring visitors access certified providers in line with government commitments to quality assurance and visitor safety.

The platform also integrates airlines serving Guyana, enabling visitors to conveniently plan end-to-end trips. Additional features include secure payment processing, invoicing, and performance tracking tools designed to support local businesses.

Tourism is a growing sector in Guyana, contributing over US$396.5 million to the country’s GDP last year.

Casey Davey, CEO of Breeze Travel Solutions, said, “Our vision is to place Guyana firmly on the digital travel map. This platform empowers local businesses while making it easier than ever for travellers to explore the breathtaking beauty and cultural depth of Guyana.”
