Grenada to observe 50th anniversary of independence on Wednesday

Grenada is set to mark its 50th anniversary of political independence from Britain on Wednesday.

Reverend Dr. Osbert James, the Moderator of the Presbyterian Church is urging Grenadians to leave factionalism in the past and embrace a united future.

Combatting lawlessness

He also calls on citizens to actively resist lawlessness, stressing the importance of collective responsibility in upholding the rule of law.

Reverend James further emphasizes that laws should not divide the population, advocating for intentional legislation that promotes a common future for all Grenadians.
