Season of breakthroughs
The 2025 RallyX Series unfolded over 13 races across seven weekends, beginning in Portugal on March 29 and winding through some of Europe’s most challenging circuits. With the exception of Denmark, every track was new territory for McConnell.
Yet, the Jamaican adapted brilliantly, standing on the podium in nearly every round. His final tally: 13 podiums from eight rounds — highlighted by two victories in Denmark, six second-place finishes, and five third-place finishes across Portugal, the Netherlands, Latvia, Finland, Sweden, Denmark, and Germany.
“This season has been an incredible journey,” McConnell reflected. “Finishing second overall against such a strong field of drivers and on mostly new tracks is an achievement I’m proud of. It was also good to see home support here at the final, including my sponsors, the JTB.”
