FLL airport job fair to connect job seekers with employers Aug. 28

Job seekers will have an opportunity to connect with employers supporting Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport during a job fair scheduled for Aug. 28 at the Broward County Convention Center.
The 2026 FLL Airport Job Fair, hosted by the Broward County Aviation Department, will run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the convention center, 1950 Eisenhower Boulevard in Fort Lauderdale. Doors will open at 8:30 a.m.
The free event will bring together companies and agencies involved in airport operations, including retail and concessions, ground transportation, parking services, security, janitorial services, law enforcement, airline subcontractors and other airport-related operations.
Organizers said the event is open to people age 16 and older, whether they are starting their careers, seeking a career change or looking for opportunities to advance in the airport environment. Free parking will be available.
In addition to meeting employers and learning about available positions, attendees can participate in career development sessions covering professional image and etiquette, interview techniques and resume preparation.
From 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., the Broward County Human Resources Division will offer one-on-one resume reviews. Participants will receive 15- to 20-minute reviews with a human resources professional and actionable feedback on how to strengthen their resumes. No appointments are required, but participants will be seen on a first-come, first-served basis. Attendees are encouraged to bring printed copies of their resumes.
CareerSource Broward will host a professional image and etiquette session from 9:30 to 10:15 a.m. The session will cover professional attire, first impressions, email and phone etiquette, virtual communication and managing an online presence.
A session titled “The Interview: Tips & Techniques” will follow from 10:30 to 11:15 a.m. Talent Development Coach Cara M. Roberts will offer guidance on preparing for interviews, answering common questions and highlighting skills effectively.
