Engine failure leads to plane crash in The Bahamas

A Blessings Aviation Charter (BAC) plane experienced engine failure shortly after takeoff from Lynden Pindling International Airport in The Bahamas which led to a crash.

Reports are that the incident, involving a Cessna 402 bound for Fresh Creek on Andros Island, occurred without injuries.

 BAC reported that the Cessna 402’s left engine failed resulting in the pilot being 

The pilot, who was alone on board, was heading to Fresh Creek on Andros Island, where it crash-landed and subsequently caught fire.

BAC applauded the pilot for his quick thinking as he steered the plane to a deserted area of Coral Harbour Road.
