The drugs were camouflaged within the fruit shipment, which originated from the port of Santa Marta, Colombia, and was in transit through the Dominican Republic. Its final destination was Hamburg, Germany.
This seizure is the third-largest cocaine confiscation at the Multimodal Caucedo port and the largest drug interception in the country this year.
