This milestone, a staggering 32% increase from 2023, cements the CPL's place among the most-watched cricket tournaments worldwide.

The CPL’s meteoric rise in popularity is attributed to phenomenal growth in critical markets, including India, the Caribbean, and the United States, as well as a marked surge in social media engagement. Fans across the globe tuned in through premier broadcasting deals spanning regions such as the Middle East, the UK, the USA, Canada, New Zealand, and South Africa. Meanwhile, CPL's YouTube and Facebook channels ensured universal access to cricket enthusiasts in other territories.

A historic tournament

The 2024 season featured 34 electrifying matches played across six cricket-loving nations—Antigua, Barbados, Guyana, St. Kitts, Saint Lucia, and Trinidad. The Saint Lucia Kings emerged as champions for the very first time, clinching their title in an unforgettable final at the Guyana National Stadium in Providence.
