Popular R&B artiste Chris Brown arrived on Jamaican soil shortly after midnight on Tuesday.

Dressed in a vibrant green Nike sweatsuit, his warm smile hinted at the excitement brewing for his upcoming Under The Influence concert at the National Stadium.

Awaited arrival for Chris Brown


Anticipation filled the air outside the Norman Manley International Airport as the artiste emerged.

The American sensation, known for his multifaceted talents as a singer, songwriter, rapper, dancer, and actor did not waste any time in sharing a video of his Caribbean arrival on his Instagram page.

A star-studded lineup 

The Under The Influence concert is slated to be the grand finale of the BZR Weekend, from August 25-27. Fans can anticipate performances from an array of artistes.

The lineup includes Teejay, Ding Dong, Sean Kingston, Gramps Morgan, Popeye Caution, Byron Messia, along with surprise guests who will grace the stage.

BZR Weekend: A Jamaican special 


Originating in Miami, Florida, the Jamaican edition of BZR Weekend is a collaborative effort. Solid Agency, Burke Bodley, VEW Live, LLC + PLXYBOY, and Jay Upscale are the driving forces behind this grand event.

Attendees can expect an action-packed schedule, from the exclusive Haute Monde Jamaica to the nostalgic vibes of the Memba Dis! Ultimate Ol' Skool Party. Paradise Brunch Party, Indigo, and the Under The Influence concert, round off the list.

It is estimated that the event will have 45,000 attendees.

A nostalgic return


This will not be Brown's first Jamaican rodeo as the artiste delivered an exhilarating performance at the island’s 2010 Reggae Sumfest.
