In a media release on Friday, the school said: "We grieve with his family, friends, and all who feel his loss.”
“We pray for God’s mercy and comfort for his parents and family. May his soul rest in peace,” the release added.
A candle was lit in Gibson’s honor who was characterized as jovial and always had a story to tell.
Guidance counselors from various Corporate Area high schools were willing to help with grief counseling for students and staff of the St Andrew based secondary school, as they tried to console each another in their collective sorrow.
