BSO to conduct D.U.I. enforcement operation new year’s holiday weekend

In anticipation of increased driving under the influence (D.U.I.) offences during the New Year's holiday weekend, the Broward Sheriff's Office D.U.I. Task Force will be conducting a high visibility saturation and enforcement operation.

According to a press release the enforcement will occur from 5:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. beginning Saturday, December 31, 2022, to Sunday, January 1, 2023, in Broward County.

This operation aims to promote traffic safety, apprehend impaired drivers who may pose a danger to the public and cite traffic violators.

BSO urges everyone to enjoy their holiday festivities responsibly and to have a safe New Year's weekend.
