Officials advise residents, especially those with respiratory issues, to stay indoors during spraying. Registered residents will receive alerts ahead of the spraying operation.
Broward Mosquito Control uses a combination of backpack, truck, and aerial spraying based on surveillance data and public service requests. The public is also encouraged to reduce mosquito breeding grounds by eliminating standing water around their homes.
