BermudAir will significantly expand air service to the Turks and Caicos Islands during the 2026-27 winter tourism season, introducing six new routes from key U.S. markets as the destination seeks to strengthen visitor arrivals and regional connectivity.
The expansion, announced by Experience Turks and Caicos and the Turks and Caicos Islands Airports Authority (TCIAA), will provide new and enhanced access from the northeastern and southeastern United States between October 2026 and May 2027.
Under the new schedule, BermudAir will offer weekly nonstop and direct service from Newark beginning Dec. 19, 2026, weekly flights from Boston starting Dec. 19, weekly nonstop service from Baltimore-Washington beginning Dec. 24, and twice-weekly flights from Raleigh-Durham starting Dec. 20.
The airline will also launch thrice-weekly service from Fort Lauderdale on Oct. 26 and twice-weekly nonstop flights from St. Petersburg/Tampa beginning Dec. 21.
Tourism officials said the additional airlift will strengthen the Turks and Caicos Islands' position as one of the Caribbean's leading winter travel destinations.
"The expansion of airlift through BermudAir is a strong vote of confidence in the Turks and Caicos Islands as a premier destination," said Tourism Minister Zhavargo Jolly.
Jolly said the new routes support the government's strategy of sustainable tourism growth, increased visitor arrivals and expanded economic opportunities for residents.
To help drive demand, Experience Turks and Caicos plans to partner with BermudAir on a cooperative marketing campaign targeting luxury travelers in key source markets. The initiative will include digital advertising and destination promotions highlighting the islands' beaches, upscale resorts, culinary offerings and marine attractions.
The TCIAA said the expanded service aligns with its broader airlift strategy and reflects the benefits of investments in international aviation forums, including Routes conferences, where airport officials engage directly with airline executives to secure new service opportunities.
Aviation Minister Arlington Musgrove said enhanced air connectivity is critical to economic growth and will create additional opportunities for tourism, business travel and regional connections.
"The expansion of BermudAir into the Turks and Caicos Islands is a significant milestone for our aviation and tourism sectors," Musgrove said.
BermudAir founder and chief executive officer Adam Scott said the carrier is pleased to add the Turks and Caicos Islands to its growing Caribbean network.
"We're thrilled to continue expanding our Caribbean network as the premium leisure carrier from North America with the addition of Turks and Caicos as our newest destination," Scott said.
According to the airline, all flights will be operated using Embraer E190 aircraft. BermudAir said it has earned a Net Promoter Score of 70, which it describes as among the highest customer satisfaction ratings in the airline industry.
The expanded service is expected to boost tourism during the peak winter season while providing travelers with additional nonstop options to one of the Caribbean's most popular destinations.
