Barbados rattled by earthquake

An earthquake with a magnitude of 3.8 rattled Barbados early Monday, but there were no reports of any injuries or damage.

 

The Trinidad-based Seismic Research Center (SRC) of the St. Augustine campus of the University of the West Indies (UWI) said that the quaked occurred at 1.50 am (local time) and was located north east of the island.

 

It said that the quake was located at 14.06N and 58.70°W with a depth of 10km and was also felt in St. Lucia and the French island of Martinique.
