Guadeloupe turns the tide
Guadeloupe's opener at the same venue followed a more dramatic script.
Bermuda moved ahead in the 18th minute after Enrique Russell converted from the penalty spot, but the advantage became increasingly difficult to protect after Jorj Dublin was sent off in the 64th minute.
Guadeloupe finally capitalized on its numerical advantage six minutes from full time.
Allan Vulgaire reacted quickest to a rebound inside the box and fired home to bring the match level.
The comeback was completed in the 89th minute, when Djamalee Boisné finished from close range to snatch all three points.
Cuba seals victory with late surge
Cuba also needed patience before putting its match against Grenada beyond doubt at the NBG Technical Center in St Kitts.
The Cubans went ahead in the 19th minute, although the breakthrough came through an own goal.
Grenada remained within striking distance until the closing stages, but Cuba produced two goals in stoppage time to turn a narrow advantage into a convincing 3-0 result.
Daniel Díaz struck first before Didier Reinoso added the third, completing a dominant opening-night performance.
Williams double completes St Kitts comeback
St Kitts & Nevis faced an early setback against Bonaire, which took the lead in the opening minutes through Berry Sonnenschein.
The hosts, however, recovered behind two goals from Tiquanny Williams, whose brace turned the match around and secured a 2-1 victory.
The result completed a night in which all four League B winners demonstrated different qualities, Barbados and Cuba combining control with decisive finishing, while Guadeloupe and St Kitts & Nevis showed the resilience required to recover from losing positions.
