Loop News-  A 19-year-old, who was severely injured during Sunday’s club shooting in St Croix, has died.

The US Virgin Islands Police Department announced Ja'yomi Roberts death after being taken off life support by doctors at the Governor Juan F Luis Hospital following consultations with his relatives.

His death took the US Virgin Islands' 2023 murder toll to 14.

Roberts was one of six people wounded on April 16 while leaving the Climaxx Night Club.

Jahmari Joshawn Santiago died at the scene while Roberts and four others were taken to hospital.

Police said three of the injured were discharged from the hospital while another person was transferred to Florida for medical treatment.
