Miami’s countdown to the FIFA World Cup 26™ has officially begun. With exactly 305 days until kickoff, the Miami Host Committee is marking the milestone with a challenge to South Florida’s creative community: help define the city’s World Cup identity.
Through an open call launched today, artists, writers, designers, and other creatives are invited to submit a tagline that captures Miami’s energy and global spirit—a unifying phrase to be featured across campaigns, media, merchandise, and event content.
“This campaign is about engaging our community in a way that reflects Miami’s spirit and diversity,” said Alina T. Hudak, CEO of the Miami Host Committee. “This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for Miami creatives to share their voice and be part of our city’s global showcase.”
Miami will host seven FIFA World Cup 26™ matches at Miami Stadium, bringing the world’s biggest sporting event to South Florida in 2025. The campaign offers locals a rare chance to leave their mark on the festivities.
“We want the world to feel what we already know: that Miami is the global capital of passion, culture, and fútbol,” said Janelle Prieto, Chief Marketing and Community Officer of the Miami Host Committee. “What better way to do that than by asking the people who live and breathe this city to help tell its story?”
Submissions are open through August 30, 2025. Finalists will be recognized by the Host Committee and invited to help develop the official campaign.
