Lauderhill to host CASA Championship backpack giveaway for students

Commissioner Richard Campbell and the City of Lauderhill are inviting families to the CASA Championship Backpack Giveaway on Saturday, July 12 at 4:00 p.m. at Lauderhill Sports Park, located at 7500 W Oakland Park Blvd.

The event will feature free backpack giveaways to help students prepare for the new school year. Backpacks will be distributed while supplies last.

In addition to the giveaway, attendees can enjoy an afternoon of community activities and family-friendly fun. The event is part of a broader effort to support local youth and encourage educational readiness as the back-to-school season approaches.
