In response to Hurricane Beryl’s devastating impact on the Caribbean islands, the City of Miramar is launching a crucial relief effort to support those affected. Starting today, residents are encouraged to donate essential supplies to aid Caribbean residents in their time of need.
Drop-Off Locations:
- Fire Station #19: 6700 Miramar Parkway
- Fire Station #70: 9001 Miramar Parkway
- Fire Station #107: 11811 Miramar Parkway
- Fire Station #84: 14801 SW 27th Street
- Fire Station #100: 2800 SW 184th Avenue
Suggested Items Needed:
- Tarps
- Sleeping bags
- Trash bags
- Work gloves and boots
- Non-perishable food items (e.g., canned meats, pasta, milk)
- Personal care items (e.g., toiletries)
- First aid supply kits
Important Note: Used clothing or linen will not be accepted at this time.
Residents can begin dropping off their donations starting Thursday, July 4, 2024. Your contributions will provide much-needed relief to those struggling in the aftermath of the hurricane.
The City of Miramar stands in solidarity with the Caribbean islands and remains committed to supporting our Caribbean community. Donations are also accepted online at Miramarfl.gov/Hurricane. Your generosity and support will make a significant difference in the recovery efforts for Hurricane Beryl.
