On Sunday, Feb. 2, 2025, from 7:00 AM to 10:30 AM, CAHFI’s Caribbean Cheer Zone will take over 100 South Miami Ave, transforming the space into a lively festival of music, culture, and community support for thousands of runners.

The signature cheer zone will feature a live DJ, giveaways, and an electrifying atmosphere that has become a fan favorite over the years. Setting the pace for the festivities is popular Caribbean DJ Savage Won, who will spin a dynamic mix of soca, reggae, and dancehall, ensuring that participants and spectators alike feel the infectious rhythm of the islands.

“For 17 years, our cheer zone has brought the heart and soul of the Caribbean to the Miami Marathon,” said Asa P. Sealy, Executive Director of CAHFI. “It’s more than just music and dancing—it’s about community, resilience, and celebrating the incredible athletes who take on this challenge. We encourage everyone to come out, enjoy the energy, and support the runners as we share the best of Caribbean culture with Miami.”

The Miami Marathon, one of South Florida’s premier sporting events, attracts thousands of athletes from around the globe each year. CAHFI’s presence has become a staple of the race experience, offering an authentic taste of Caribbean hospitality and celebration.

Whether you’re a runner, a supporter, or simply looking to soak in the lively atmosphere, the CAHFI Caribbean Cheer Zone promises to be a highlight of race day.
