Broward County Transit (BCT) will join in the festivities of this year’s Lauderdale-By-The-Sea July 4th Parade celebration.
Broward County Mayor Lamar Fisher will serve as Grand Marshal. The parade will travel south on Bougainvilla Drive, east along Pine Avenue, then south on El Mar Drive to Hibiscus Avenue from 10-11 AM.
Watch for BCT’s patriotic electric bus as the Bus Operator of the Month, Larry Target drives along the parade route. He will be escorted by County employees and leadership, who will be passing out giveaways.
Once the parade ends, attendees can then continue the celebration at El Prado Park, 4500 El Mar Drive, Lauderdale-By-The-Sea, 33308 for Family Fun Day.
This year’s Family Fun Day takes place from 11 AM to 2 PM and will include face painting, live performances, a giant water slide, treats, and more.
At 9 PM, there will be a fireworks show on the beach to close out the celebration.
