Jamaica’s Defence Force (JDF) lost over $90,000 in cash after thieves reportedly broke into the camp in Moneague, St Ann over the weekend.
According to reports, the incident occurred sometime between 9:30 pm on Friday and 6:45 am on Saturday.
It is believed that the robbers entered the military compound and forced open the front door to a building, which they entered and took $93,000 before leaving the premises.
No one has been held in connection with the robbery.
The camp is said to be watched 24 hours daily by military police personnel.
