JN Bank has reported that counselling is being offered to staff and members who are affected by the attack on security guards delivering cash to the JN Bank Portmore Pines branch in St. Catherine, Jamaica on Monday.
Reports are that on Monday morning, gunmen shot members of the Berrylium security team before escaping with a large sum of money.
The attack left one security guard dead and two others injured.
The bank expressed that the company is saddened by the incident and continues providing professional counselling and other support.
However, it said that none of its employees was physically harmed during the incident.
Reports are that enhanced security measures have since been implemented at the JN bank Portmore Pines branch.
The bank also shared that it is working closely with its security providers and that it is also reviewing security arrangements at all locations island-wide to make necessary changes to improve the safety of employees and clients.
