Last Saturday afternoon, on April 15th, an earthquake estimated to be between a 5.1 and 5.4 magnitude rattled Jamaica, Haiti, Cuba and the United States Minor Outlying Islands.
The earthquake is said to have been located 55 kilometers from Kingston, Jamaica, in the Caribbean Sea.
The effects of the earthquake are reported as minor, with no major damage caused.
Then on the night of Sunday, April 16th, a magnitude 3.5 earthquake was reported south of Antigua and Barbuda.
The UWI Seismic Research Center (UWI SRC) reported that the earthquake occurred around 11:56 pm (local time) at a depth of 16 km.
