Spotify streams: Spice’s 10 most streamed dancehall album of last two years

Queen of Dancehall Spice topped the genre on the streaming platform Spotify, with nearly 300 million streams in the last two years.

Her debut studio album, 10, released in August 2021, was streamed 94.2 million times in 2023, totaling 271 million (release-to-date) on Spotify.

Her hit singles “Go Down Deh” featuring Sean Paul and Shaggy, “So Mi Like It” and “Sen It Up” are the most streamed songs on the album.

Within the Dancehall genre, Spice’s 10 was the most streamed album of 2023 with 147 million across all platforms (excluding YouTube).

She shared her excitement on social media with fans who reacted with congratulatory messages.

Upon its release, the album debuted at number six on the Billboard Reggae Albums chart.

It was nominated for ‘Best Reggae Album’ at the 64th Annual Grammy Awards alongside Pamoja by Etana, Sean Paul’s Live N Livin, Spice’s 10, Jesse Royal’s Royal, Gramps Morgan’s Positive Vibration, and Virginia-based reggae band SOJA’s Beauty in the Silence who won the award.

The album was executively produced by Shaggy.
