Rastafest: Celebrating 30 years of Rastafari culture and reggae

Rastafest, Canada’s premier reggae event, will be commemorating 30 years of Rastafari culture and traditional roots reggae music in Canada.

Marking this notable achievement, the festival is slated for August 17-20, 2023, in the heart of Canada’s Caribbean hub, Little Jamaica. 

The festival’s inauguration is set for July 28, 2023, at 6:00 pm in Studio M, situated at 1672 Eglinton Avenue West, at the intersection with Glenholme Avenue.

More than music: The multidisciplinary experience at Rastafest

For three decades, Rastafest has been an instrumental platform, presenting Jamaican and Rastafari heritage and culture to Canada and the global stage. 

More than a music festival, Rastafest offers a multidisciplinary, family-oriented experience, illuminating diverse facets of Rastafari and Reggae culture. 

The festival takes its essence from the vibrant and diverse Rastafari way of life, culture, and history.
