Nailah Blackman snags 4 nominations at Caribbean Music Awards

Trinidad and Tobago’s very own Nailah Blackman has snagged four nominations at this year’s Caribbean Music Awards.

The Caribbean Music Awards, a prestigious event presented annually by the Caribbean Elite Group, is dedicated to recognizing and honoring individuals from the Caribbean diaspora who have made significant contributions in various fields.

The 2024 grand celebration of the best in Caribbean music, entertainment, and culture is set to take place on Thursday, August 29, at the historic Kings Theatre in Brooklyn.

The event promises to showcase Caribbean talent with performances, video tributes, and cultural elements from different islands. Nailah Blackman, known for her electrifying stage presence and powerful voice, has been nominated for four prestigious awards at this year’s ceremony:

  • Artist of the Year (Female, Soca)
  • Video of the Year for “Come Home” with Skinny Fabulous
  • Song of the Year (Soca) for “Come Home”
  • Collaboration of the Year (Soca, Reggae/Dancehall) for “Come Home” with Skinny Fabulous

Her collaboration with Skinny Fabulous, the chart-topping hit “Come Home,” has garnered widespread acclaim and is a strong contender for multiple awards. Nailah is encouraging fans and supporters to cast their votes for her on the official Caribbean Music Awards website, CaribMusicAwards.com. Voting ends June 30th.
