Jahzeal makes strides with newest single ‘Toxic’

Jamaican dancehall artiste Jahzeal is making waves with the release of his newest single “Toxic.”

Produced by Dxminant Beatz, the track is highly controversial and equally sensual and details a love triangle. “Toxic” was released on Thursday, March 30, 2023, and has since garnered much attention from local and international DJs.

“It is a very catchy song that is already garnering much love in the dancehall,” he expressed.

When the artiste was asked in a recent interview if the song was inspired by a personal experience, he quickly stated that “the song was inspired by the rhythm.” He expounded, “The song was written from the perspective of a conceited character who is clearly in love with both women in the story.”

The steamy visual was released alongside the video and is currently racking up the views on YouTube.

“We brought the heat with this one. Everyone on set was so professional and delivered. I have been getting so many positive comments; I know I definitely did something right with this video.”

Jahzeal, whose given name is Miguel Murray has consistently been releasing chart-topping music throughout his over ten-year-long career. 

He has collaborated with artistes within his syndicate Vagabondz, namely Kabdo Eskabel, Grey Lordd and Puezee. He has worked with producers like Marlon Easy, Usain Bolt and Dxminant Beatz of UKR. 

Jahzeal shared with the press that he definitely sees himself collaborating with Stephen “Di Genius” Mcgregor, Notnice, Zum from Good Good Productions and Jordan McClure from Chimney Records.

Among his 2022 singles are “Try Harder,” a collaboration with track star Usain Bolt which was produced by A-Team Lifestyle, and “Colour Blind,” produced by Dxminant Beatz. The fast-rising artiste is of course making himself busy as he promises new music in the pipeline.

“I’m always working on my craft and consistently putting out new music. music. I have lots more in store that will be coming out soon.”

Jahzeal has built a reputable catalog on his journey as an independent artiste and his aim is to steadily release good music for his fans.
