Gyptian & Montell Jordan will perform at Jammin in the Park 2023

Jammin in the Park is set to take place at Central Broward Park & Broward County Stadium in Lauderhill, Florida, on Saturday April 22nd, and music lovers from all over the region are gearing up for this highly anticipated event. With the star-studded lineup featuring Jamaican reggae sensation Gyptian and R&B icon Montell Jordan, this is a concert that promises to be an unforgettable experience.

This is the 9th staging of the event, but a first for Broward County Stadium. Jammin in the Park, which is usually held at the Ilene Lieberman Park, is anticipating a bigger crowd than usual this year. The lineup includes headliners Montell Jordan and Gyptian, as well as Gucci Crew II, The Old Skool Gang and Lenora Jaye.

Gyptian, born Windel Beneto Edwards, is a highly talented Jamaican roots reggae artist who has been making waves in the music industry since the mid-2000s. With hits like “Serious Times,” “Beautiful Lady,” and “Hold Yuh,” Gyptian has cemented his place as one of the top reggae artists of his generation. His smooth voice, catchy melodies, and meaningful lyrics make his music resonate with fans all over the world.

Montell Jordan, on the other hand, is an American R&B singer, songwriter, and record producer. His music career started in the early 1990s, and he became a household name with the release of his hit single “This Is How We Do It” in 1995. Since then, he has released numerous chart-topping singles and albums, establishing himself as a major force in the R&B genre.

Together, Gyptian and Montell Jordan promise to deliver an electrifying performance at Jammin in the Park. Food trucks and a bar will also be available. And don’t forget your lawn chairs and blankets. Admission, as always, is free, but a park entrance of $1.50 is required upon entry.
