Six talented local chefs and restaurants will compete for a chance to win a sizzling $1,000 cash prize, the coveted Grace Sauce Trophy, and the honor of having their winning creation featured at the renowned Grace Jamaican Jerk Festival.

The excitement reaches its peak with a judging event scheduled for Wednesday, October 23, and the winner will be unveiled live on Instagram at 2 PM ET on NJJD itself.

The stakes are high as contestants go beyond cash prizes to earn bragging rights in the jerk culinary world. The winner will not only receive $1,000 and the trophy but also tickets to the Grace Jamaican Jerk Festival and a gift basket filled with delicious Grace products. Each competitor is tasked with crafting a unique sauce using a Grace Jerk product as the star ingredient, with a focus on taste and creativity. The winning sauce will also be featured in live cooking demonstrations at the festival.

Judging this high-stakes competition will be a panel of culinary stars and media personalities, including:

  • Chef Irie: A celebrity chef and the dynamic host of the Publix Culinary Stage at the Grace Jamaican Jerk Festival.
  • Chef Reece: The creative force behind Reece Kitchen.
  • Ron Beasley: A popular food blogger known for his passion for bold flavors.
  • Jody-Ann Gray: A media personality who enriches the food scene with her vibrant perspective.
  • Plus, a surprise guest judge who promises to add an extra kick to the competition!

Grace Foods USA encourages all jerk enthusiasts to join in the celebration of Jamaican culture. Participants can share their favorite Grace Jerk dishes on social media, tagging @NationalJamaicanJerkDay and @GraceFoodsJerk while using the hashtags #NationalJamaicanJerkDay, #GraceFoodsJerk, #ForTheLoveOfJerk, and #NJJD.
